The sixth Cultures of Thinking Strategy for parents in supporting their children to become self-directed learners was sent out last Friday. We hope found it very informative and useful. If youmissed this email, click here to view Strategy No. 6.
Strategy No. 7 – What questions did you ask today?
Great learners ask questions. When your child comes home from school, in addition to asking “What did you learn today?” why not try asking “What questions did you ask today?” and “What feedback did you receive today?” This will help your child to be more invested in the types of questions they ask at school, and will reinforce to your child that asking great questions and seeking feedback is the essence of great learning.
