The School provides a balanced curriculum which promotes personal development and prepares students for increasing independence and responsibility. Students are guided to make good curriculum choices to ensure an appropriate level of academic rigour in areas that they are interested in and will provide a sense of achievement.

The curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for students of varied abilities. The implementation of the National Curriculum has been a further opportunity to ensure we provide extensive differentiation and personalised pedagogy, with innovative spaces and methods of delivery. Every student, regardless of ability, will be provided with the opportunity to stretch to their full potential.

Students engage in a wide range of sporting and physical activities. Field studies and excursions support classroom delivery and are designed as an enhancement programme. Being a multi campus school provides opportunities for combined excursions and sports days.
